Favorite Beauty Products of 2017
As a hopeless product junkie, it’s no surprise that I tried quite a few beauty products in 2017. There were some duds, a few meh, and thankfully, several amazing finds. Some of those finds were so great that they are now beauty routine staples, and my skin hasn’t looked this good in a long time. From a multi-tasking serum to an eye cream that rolls back time, here’s my list of great beauty finds of 2017. Thank you to Sephora, ULTA, and my fellow bloggers for introducing me to the products that I can no longer live without. And thank you to my hubby for tolerating my obsession. I can’t wait to see what new products await me in the new year.
Favorite Beauty Products of 2017
BELIF, The True Cream Aqua Bomb – This stuff is so moisturizing it feels like I’m soaking my skin in purified spring water. After each use, my skin looks so healthy and dewy. Dry winter air (or desert air for that matter) is no match for the hydrating properties of this cream. Aqua Bomb moisturizes all day is lightweight and not the least bit greasy — in other words, it’s the bomb!
CORSX, Triple C Lighting Liquid – I believe Triple C is the primary reason why I’ve had such a long #greatskin streak. This serum clears hyper-pigmentation and hydrates and brightens skin. I also thinks it helps to keep acne breakouts at bay. Triple C Lighting Liquid is the real MVP. You read my complete product review here.
FRESH, Vitamin Nectar Vibrancy Boosting Face Mask – Face masks are my jam. I love taking a moment to pamper my skin with a little mask. A Sephora consultant gave me a sample of this stuff and I immediately fell in love. While I love sheets masks as much as the next man, this mask really delivers great moisture and leaves my skin looking bright and fresh.
SUNDAY RILEY, Auto Correct Brightening and Depuffing Eye Contour Cream – Ahhhhhhh. I’ve been looking for an eye cream that truly depuffs (and not mask) for years. Luckily, Sunday Riley introduced Auto Correct in December of 2017 (just making the cut). I was a little put off by the price ($65 for a 0.5 oz. bottle), but I’ve heard a lot of good things about Sunday Riley products do I decided to take the plunge. After about a week of using this product in the morning and at night, it was #girlbye to the puff!
NEOGEN, Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling Green Tea pads – As I get older, I’m trying to be gentler with my skin. With that in mind, I decided to stop using abrasive exfoliants in favor of peels. I was little hesitant at first, concerned that these pads wouldn’t deliver the same level of exfoliation of a scrub. I’m happy to say that after I use the soft Neogen pads, my skin feels so fresh and so clean.
