Perhaps it was my inner product junkie that attracted me to the Korean 10 step skincare routine. Buy 10 different products just for my face? Count. Me. In. Or maybe after living in Seoul for two years, the start of my obsession with K-beauty, I simply realized that Korean women have the skincare game on lock.

Whatever the reason, I began my devotion to the Korean 10 step skincare routine about two years ago, before Sephora started carrying K-beauty brands. At that time, I had to find my products on websites like Soko Glam and occasionally on Amazon. I also had to do a little research to find the best products. Since then, the 10-step routine (and K-beauty in general) has become more mainstream. And now it’s much easier to find some of the best Korean products right here in the good ol’ U. S. of A.
Haven’t heard of the Korean 10-step skincare routine? Well, move your rock to the side and take look at this article for a basic rundown. Since I started the my own 10 step routine I can honestly say my skin has never looked or felt better. I have fewer blemishes, less visible pores, no fine lines, and overall brighter, smoother skin. Although the routine requires 10 separate skincare products, the products you choose for your routine may differ based on your age, skin concerns (I’m amongst the unfortunate few who still suffer from acne breakouts), region, and budget.My line-up varies because I like try new products, but I’m pretty happy with my current product selections.

Each step (and correlating product) builds upon the last. So it’s important to do the steps and use the products in a specific order. Although it takes some time to complete the entire routine, the daily pampering is what I like the most. I know there are many women who swear by their simple soap and water skincare regimens, but when it comes to my skin, I believe more is more.

  2. Foam cleanser – Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash (not actually a foam cleanser but I love it).
  3. Exfoliator –  Skin Food Black Sugar Mask.
  4. Toner – Etude House Collagen Moistfull.
  5. Essence – May Coop Raw Sauce.
  6. Serum – Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Collagen Booster.
  7. Sheet Mask – Tony Moly I’m Real Pomegranate Mask (my masks change often).
  8. Eye Cream – Dr. Brandt Triple Peptide Eye Cream.
  9. Moisturizer – Belif The True Cream Moisturizing Bomb.
  10. Night Cream – Dr. Jart Water Max Sleeping Mask
