Opposites Attract

I love juxtaposition in fashion: feminine with masculine, formal with casual, high fashion with fast fashion. But I never really thought about mixing summer with fall. That is, until I read Who What Wear’s popular 30-day summer wardrobe challenge. Day 17 suggests that I update my leather jacket look with a summer piece. Ok, what not? So, I pair my beloved leather moto jacket with a cute little summer dress. And sure enough, I’m obsessing over the look. The jacket makes a sweet, floral print dress totally bad-ass cool. Not to mention, adding a jacket extends the life of dress usually reserved for warm weather.  Again, I just love juxtaposition in fashion.
